At Planted in Africa, we're committed to helping you plan your move to Africa with confidence. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and we've designed this refund policy to be fair to both you and our business.

Digital Products (Planners, Guides, Templates, Business Ideas)

Due to the instant-access nature of digital downloads, all sales of digital products are final. Once you've downloaded or accessed a digital product, we cannot offer a refund.

However, if you experience technical issues accessing your purchase (such as broken download links or corrupted files), please contact us within 7 days of purchase at [your email], and we'll resolve the issue promptly.

Print-on-Demand Items (Journals, Planners, Physical Products)

We want you to love your print-on-demand purchase! If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and we'll arrange for a replacement at no cost to you.

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on print-on-demand items due to change of mind, as these products are created specifically for your order. However, if you're unsatisfied with the quality of the product, please reach out to us at departures@plantedinafrica.com within 14 days of delivery, and we'll work with you to find a fair solution.

Courses and Bootcamps (Including AfriShift Intensive)

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all courses and bootcamps. If you're not satisfied with the content, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course material.

To request a refund, email us at departures@plantedinafrica.com with your order number and reason for the request.

One-on-One Coaching and Consultation Services

Coaching sessions must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable, though we may offer a one-time exception in cases of emergency.

Scouting Trips and Group Programmes

Deposit payments for scouting trips are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future trip date if notice is provided at least 30 days before departure. Full payment refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis for cancellations made more than 60 days before the trip date, minus a 20% administrative fee.
